Charlie's Church of What?! Burn him at the stake!!

A long time ago I made the joke that it would be funny if someone named a church after themselves- like Dave's Christian Center. The way church life is progressing (a church near my home holds their Easter service at the Toyota Center, just shy of having a banner saying "Easter servies sponsored by Toyota") maybe this isn't too far off. So instead of waiting, I am ushering us into that era. I would have made it Clark's Church of Christ or something like that because I didn't want people to get the wrong idea about me, or to think that I want glory or praise or whatever, but Charlie just rolls off the tongue and makes the name a catchy little number. And the more I laugh at the name the more I love it, especially in light of Christian consumerism that is sweeping the faith. We call it the CCC for short, or C cubed. I hope you call it home.
